Nguyen Hue street. I has packed my camera already and back home after several hours shooting in Flower Street. Can't resist asking for a shoot when seeing this lady in front of a small restaurant. She was very so kind to smile naturally with the camera.
... and can't resist to think of turning back there tomorrow so see whether she's still there. |

She is an attractive lady, certainly, but so what? What does this picture tell me? It's not especially well composed, the focus doesn't seem that good (although that could just be the compression so I won't mark you down for it!). I think there is potential with this scene, but I don't feel you took full advantage of it. You don't seem to have considered the background - she's standing in a doorway - a doorway to what? We can't see whether she's a hotel receptionist or a seamstress or a hooker (as you mention a restaurant, I assume she was a waitress, but nothing in the image says this). The right of the frame is very busy and the left empty space.
Since you obviously had the confidence to ask her to pose, and her cooperation, why didn't you put more thought into creating the image? Why not make more of the Vietnamese flag behind her for a vivid, high-saturation red-on-red portrait? A close-up portrait can work well, but a straightforward snapshot of a pretty girl doesn't (to me) constitute travel photography.
I'm not trying to be mean, honest, just trying to help you improve. Feel free to come and visit my gallery and point out my mistakes, which I'm sure are numerous (in fact I'd welcome it - I'm much better at giving other people my opinion of where they're going wrong than I am at taking amazing pictures myself).
