Photographer’s Note
This is another simple daily life shot. A young man was calmly sitting on his moto, sending a sms, in a street of Ho Chi Minh. I liked the scene, especially because of the colours of the moto and also because of all those numbers written on the wall - don't know exactly what they mean, but they caught my eye when I was passing.

Olá Anabela,
uma paradinha para uma mensagem! Bom "decisive moment".
Wagner.

Adores, great colors and contrasts. It is so "Vietnam". It is a scene repeated all over HCM (Sai Gon) every day. By the way, the numbers are licenses for street vendors. The vendor is allowed to sell their wares in that spot for part of the day or sometimes all day, depending on the permit they buy. Good luck and please keep taking pictures for us! I love "a day in the life" pictures.

Hello Ana,
A simple picture in a way, but graphically very attractive because of the telephone numbers (?) on the wall and the bright colours of the motorbike. A picture with a message – even though only the young man knows the mesage.
Kind regards,
Gert

Bem apanhado, Anabela. ;-)

Hey 'adorable' Ana,
Literally texting, texting and texting...technology these days makes one 'unsociable' preoccupied with communication wherever and whenever we are. I like the provocative sense of the shot. The significance of the action and milieu just gives influence to the entire visual weight. Not sure what those mobile/phone numbers are but I think they are some kind of 'classified ads'. Just a thought: Maybe he's the guy on duty recieving messages or the other way around...
Best Regards,
Jom

Hello Ana,
I like so much this daily-life scene, exactly because of what you say in the notes. The colours of the moto are fantastic and also because of all those numbers written on the wall that give a great graphism to the image.
Also interesting is the boy sending messages.
Friendly regards
Giorgio

Hello Ana,
A highly focused daily life shot. This young man is indeed so engrossed texting and oblivious of his surrounding. He and his bike are well placed in your frame. My best regards...

Hi Ana,
I like this street scene very much.
It is a good documentary shot. The boy seems to be local person, the bikes not to be found in many other countries I guess. The texture of the wall is cool as well.
I really like it,

Anabela,

Cumprimentos,
Francisco

Um abraço,
José

Ciao dear Ana,
probably the numbers written on the wall are telephone numbers because they begin with the same prefix 09.
I like a lot these street photos because they are spontaneous and natural. If then, they are realized with this excellent photographic quality, the pleasure is double!
Ciao, have a nice Sunday!

Hello Ana,
This is a fabulous image! The subject, composition, colors, resolution— are all sensational, and collaborate in the manner of the instruments in a symphony orchestra. The universality of texting messages! Happily, he has pulled aside to send a text message. So many accidents happen in the United States with drivers texting while driving. Recently, a bus driver in California was arrested, after he caused the death of passengers.
Warm regards,
Bulent
