This photo is not taken near the actual Cu Chi tunnels, but on the way from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi tunnels. However, it should be already in Cu Chi district - a 430 km2 suburban administrative division of Ho Chi Minh province.
The tour I was on was an organized 1-day tour, so the toilet break was not just a toilet break but one of those breaks where there's a chance to earn some extra money from tourists' wallets. So the break lasted for about 40 minutes and there was a chance to buy overpriced snacks and drinks and souvenirs.
The courtyard on the way to toilets was beautiful and this is where I took this photo. There were many-many sculptures outside and souvenir shops inside.
As often happens to me when travelling to warm countries the sun was too bright for me to notice through camera that the ISO had remained @800 from the last night. That explains the 1/5000 shutter speed :)
Postprocessing: Rotate 0,6 degrees CW, crop to remove the empty areas left by rotation, resize and added frame - this time that was it. |
