Cu chi is not only popular about the tunnel system which is known nation-wide having been a stubborn resistance base during both wars of liberation. but also about the handicraft villages especially making girdle cake. after spreading and steaming, the cakes will be put on the bamboo tray then dry under the sun. this job just can do in the sunny day, so if you come to Cu Chi in a raining day you will never see it.
