Wonderful play with light and shadow. The addition of the man added an extra dimension to the mood of the picture. Would you please provide the details regarding shutter speed and apperture value?

The light is fantastic. I have seen similar scene few years ago, but when I came back with my camera to take a picture, people already finished fired leafs and all smoke went out.
Regards

Astonishing scene. Everything works. It was good idea to make it B/W, it underlines the effect. Congratulations

Oh yes we do like it very much. Perfect light and composition and good choise to be B&W. Congratulations.

Hi Victor. A delicate and beautiful composition. Very effective in B&W.Lovely format with the eye travelling high towards the source of the rays. Regards, Klaudio

Hello Victor,

Great choice of Black & White! It really highlights the ray of lights. They all lead us to the top left part of the picture. Well done!

Hello Victor,
I like this picture very much. I looked at the color version you've posted, and I believe you have made the right decision to desaturate it. It looks wonderful, and the light through the trees is very impressive.

Very nice scene and good utilisation of light. A magic shot!
Best regards

hi victor

this shot is awesome. i like how the light rays lead to the silhouette, which has been captrued very well. there is a great feeling of solitude and a little bit of loneliness in this photo. a fine composition!

Hi Victor,
Rays of the sun are so strong.
I prefer the colored version... but I give you a green smiley for this !
Fred ;-)

This is excellent - the smoke, shade & sunlight create a wonderful atmosphere. While the colour version is fine, the B&W version is (for me) superb.

Hi Victor!
What a shot!!! The light is wonderful! The B&W works well in emphasizing the light beams!

The tree in the foreground looks like a jackfruit tree to me, isn't it?
Keeping this path, you will quickly make a large leap in photography.
Best wishes.

Very good composition and great light work. I wonder how it looks the color version. Well done.

Another amazing shot. I really like you work. However, I do wish you would write something in your profile and tell us all a little about yourself. Cheers!

Hello Victor,
Those rays of light enhanced by the smoke are extroardinarily well caught.
The shades of grey are superb.
This photo has something magical.
Extremely well done.

PS. Though I like your black and white picture very much I must confess that your colour version is fantastic, too.

This is an excellant black and white, very atmospheric with the smoke and sunlight.

++++ really nice! B/W suits very well, sunbeams looks great!

A master piece. Wonderfull scene. You catched the light very well, and choosed an excellent composition. Magic !

A very atmospheric and really quite beautiful image Victor - the compositional arrangement is great - although I wonder about a lower point of view - the light is sublime - such a special moment - it also seems to reflect a very south east asian approach to image composition which comes to us through painting - that link is there in my mind at least.

best wishes Kev

Absolutely splendid - what a great shot !
Congratulations,
Cath.

Hi Victor, noticed this one in your intro. Its a wonderful capture with the play of light through the trees. Very nice work..

I love this pic Victor - black/white is what makes it so special to me. It just doesn't work the same in colour - Good Job!
