Photographer’s Note

This is at Mui Ne, South of Vietnam - 2005.

Pull the net together early morning on the beach of Mui Ne....
A boat dispatch in the sea the large fish net approx. at 20 meters distant from the beach...
2 teams pull out on each side of the net from the beach slowly and methodically... the first fisher who pull nearest the sea become progressively the last one on the cycle and become again the first one until the net is on the beach... with fishes jumping around!!!

i like this one: there is something very cinematic and engaging about it. of course, the silky net leading into the scene helps.
