[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the fist time I tried Panorama. I made a big mistake not removed the Circular polarizer and I ended up with whole lots of time just to match the color of each frame after stitching them together.
This is my beautiful hometown, Vung Tau, Vietnam. The scene here was capture from the Lighthouse on top of Nui Lon (big Mountain). The Beach in the scene is Bai Sau (Back Beach. On the right is the giant Jesus Status. On the left there were pond that used to be Lotus Pond. All the way to the left, there used to be Sand Dune. about 30 years ago, when I was a little kid, Vung Tau has Sand Dune right next to the beach about 10 Km long. the highest Dune reached 32 meters located in Thang Nhat. I went back last year, 32 Km of sand dune was gone. I mean completed gone. Why? I don't know.
Vung Tau, to me is a beautiful city that has many Beaches, difference religion Temples and Churchs.
just like most of develop cities in my country. Vung Tau took it toll with fast development. Most of the city nature beauty been destroy everyday. For most visitors they just enjoy the beaches while visit this city. For us, as photographer, if you willing to explore there are still many photograph oppotunities left just have to wake up early and explore.

Great composition and the details on the long post are fantastic. I was quite surorise to find the big Jesus statue there.
Nice colors and the long post is stunning.

You may hate me because I kept telling you I admire your large version.

But that's the only way I could appreciate the entire panoramic beauty of your hometown. I was here first and last time on March 26, 1972 while receiving the breaking news from Da Nang that my mother has passing away early that morning. The Song Than Daily News quickly pulled me back to Tan Son Nhat Airport and inserted me into a military aircraft that dropped me off at end of the runway and my cousin who was a jet-pilot picked me up using his own military jeep...

What a memory day to me. Now you knew why I was always behind your pictures of "Cap Saint Jacques".

You did a nice capture and the for the your first pano, very good. Enlarging your photo does it for me. Needs a little more contrast to enhance..otherwise Thanks for sharing

Hi phuoc, I like the panorama view of the beautiful scenery. The larger version is excellent. You have done an excellent job to get the clear and detailed view. You may need to give a sharpening to the smaller sized version. The view is breath taking and it is a beautiful picture. Well done.

Wonderful stitch job, and breathtaking view, excellent work. I have similar ones from this hill, and also from the Christ statue, but I did not try stitching them , but now that you have it, I don't need to.
