[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was a guest house (and orchard) near Ba Ria on the way to Vung Tau. It's called Hoa Lan and the lady who owns it also owns a new restaurant in town. The whole grounds were beautiful. We got to play pool, pick fruit and watch the horses and birds. I think the house is a good example of the style of architecture that they like to use when building new homes. I would almost say it looks like the houses they're building now in gated communities in Silicon Valley, but it's not surprising since many of those were built by Asian architecture firms too!

There's a ton of construction going on in Vietnam. In some places, everything is new and there's huge areas being cleared for roads and other projects. All in all, that looks like a sign that the economy is growing fast.
