Very good capture of a lovely scene, Nason.
Did you shot this on the South bank (city side) where it used to be sanddunes during dry season?
Your photo prompts me to recall the war-time days when I accompanied the 233th ARVN's Helicopter Squadron to the familiar locations around Quang Ngai City: Minh Long, Ba Tơ, Sơn Hà, Sơn Tịnh, Gia Vực, Trà Bồng, Mộ Đức, Đức Phổ and Sa Huỳnh.
I am looking forward for other photos of Quang Ngai from your trip.

A striking image.
I like the symmetrical positions of the men, and with the sun just out of the frame you can sense the approach of night from the left.
I would crop the top to remove the spot and hair (or clone them out.)
