That is exactly what Australians do not understand. Our beaches are full between 11 am and 3 pm!!! And, of course, we are leaders in skin cancer!!!
It is a beautiful picture with all those colours of an early day. The two layers of mountains are fabulous. Well done.

Beautiful scenery, Murray! I like it a lot! Very nice capture! I remember when I was 16 and used to spent great mornings surfing. I remember more when I see this golden touch and I almost feel that hot rays on my back. Otherwise, I just remember to go bathing at 6am after a loooong night of party... ;-D

G'day Mrray,

Good to see that you are back! This is an outstanding image, the layering in the distance of the coastal hills is well presented! You have captured a good break and the people themselves are a good feature, it certainly does not look as crowded as our beaches. A good level horizon also.

An interesting scene, and quite a surprising one, all these people at the beach so early!.. Great colors and smooth sky texture. Lovely layers of hills as a backdrop too.. i like the light caught by the waves crests...

Not so hard to believe. Some people get up at that time to go photograph them too. Nice capture Murray, I like the colour you've captured in that sky and the way those hills have created the shadowing the way they have. Looking at your workshop, it's almost understandable as to why these people would venture out at 6.
