Little Egret is called "Chim co trang" in vietnamese , its latin name is Egretta garzetta. This kind of bird is very popular in everywhere of VN. But the place for them nowadays less and less for the reason that the area of bracket water forest was destroyed too much for industrial shrimp farming.
It's very lucky for them to have a private garden in Thotnot district, Can Tho city called "Vuon co bang lang". It is on the National way 91 from Can Tho city to An Giang province.
It is about 20km from Long xuyen City (An Giang province). For visiting this garden we should choose at the afternoon time. I did come here one tme before the sunrise and I could not breath due to their smell.
Anyway this is the wonderfull for everybody who love nature
