This woman, on the shore of the fishing village that's part of Nha Trang, was standing in a basket of dark, shiny things, stepping up and down on them for several minutes in the ocean surf. From my high vantage point on an overpass over the harbor entrance, I could not tell what she was crushing. I thought they were marine snails, perhaps, but that would hurt in bare feet! I still don't know the answer.

A different 'style' from you Ken, but an interesting composition. You had me wondering how you tok this shot until I read your note. Perhaps she was washing seaweed? Cheers . . . David

I like the birds eye perspective here a lot.
The repitition of the round shape from her hat and the basket is great.A nice little scene perfectly placed into the frame.

Your POV from the TOP is really good here
The way the waves are braking and the way they are captured in a diagonal way makes it a very nice composition too look at.
Well seen and captured
Maybe its seaweed

This is a really amazing shot. The composition is very simple and elemental, but very effective. The line of the wave cuts across the frame in just the right spot, and separates the two circles of the hat and the basket. The unusual overhead view takes this from the ordinary to the extraordinary. Well done Ken!
