I very much like the composition of this picture. I like that half the image is almost empty, with only the fishing boat, and the other half full of details - the house, the washing line, the trees, the distant mountains... It might be interesting to have experimented with depth-of-field, just to see how it would look with the background in focus, but that would just be a different look, not necessarily better - I certainly don't think the picture loses anything from the shallow dof. You also caught a really good moment as the man pulls on the net.

A very pleasing image, with so many details and local culture (the house, the clothing, the scenery, the eyes painted on the boat that is so typical in Vietnam, the practice of fishing with nets...) that it paints a very complete picture of life in the area. Well captured.
