Walking through the market in Hoi An, saw all these colors and couldn't resist. I especially love the cigarette. I wish I'd framed it better. Still my main weakness. I missed the top of her head.

Hi Jim,
I think this is a pretty interesting shot, even without the top of her head. Unless she had some wild bun of hair sticking out in all directions, I don't feel that it was important.
However, I am curious as to why you did not post this portrait of everyday life in portrait format as it was shot. I think the impact is partially destroyed with this perspective, but it did make me click on it in the gallery.
Other than that, I think this is a pretty great shot, well captured!

Hi Jim,
I like how you caught the motion. And there is an excellent zig-zag balance through your colourful shot, all the way to the woman in the background. And I like the foot in the bottom corner - it gives a spatial scale to the cramped market. Plus of course I like the fish :)

p.s. I too flipped it 90 degrees clockwise and think I prefer it that way.
