Visit Hoi An in the wet season? You are probably mad but it is still enticing and fascinating. We sheltered in a downpour in this classic old restored business house, now being used as a commercial art gallery. You can see the upper verandahs that provide a little shelter in the courtyard below where the paintings around the edge were quite dry.

I was also in Vietnam in wet season, it rained without stop. But Hoi An is such a charming place even in rain.

Who says just because it is raining we should hide our cameras away? 1/30 seconds works well to give these rain streaks. We have had so much rain in Brisbane recently - I should be experimenting at home!
