[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Though I felt that while travelling in Vietnam, the signs of the war weren't as obvious as I expected, unfortunetly the scars are still there. This girl was in a small village (can't remember the name) along the Ho Chi Minh trail in the Demilitarized Zone close to the Lao border.
The picture is a wee bit over exposed in the background but I think it's an effective shot none the less.

As you say, the picture is a bit over exposed and not very much focus, but the effect, the hard effect of this image is efective. Very nice photo.

I think yor picture show us a big problem of 21th centry!

Great picture! I don't think the overexposure is a problem. In fact, it's an advantage because it shows the contrast between the subject and the background. With this "overexposure", when I look at the photo, I focus the girl imediatly. Great work!
