Short moment on the old French Quarters in Ha Noi. The beggar was in his thoughts until started to dig the sack. While I looked at him, this motorcyclist stopped here, looked at me and drove away. I had my camera ready because wanted to have a shot of the beggar but then got a photo of both.
"Hanoiís French Quarter lies to the southeast of Hoan Kiem lake. In the late 19th century, when the French occupied Hanoi, they demolished many of the old Vietnamese buildings and replaced them with imposing French-style villas. As well as the architecture the area is characterised by wide tree-lined streets which, while still busy with traffic. The area is also home to some of Hanoiís fanciest restaurants and hotels".

I love taking and looking at street photography images from this busy city. Well done for getting both people in the frame. Lovely natural colours in this well rendered image.

An interesting note about this place and a fabulous photograph you have managed to capture so quickly! A picture of the beggar sitting beneath the wall with its plaque would have been good, but the addition of the lady on her motorcycle really adds to the appeal of this one!
There's also an amusing side to this too - the lady is so smartly and cleanly dressed sitting on that old muddy and dusty motorcycle - I can't quite make up my mind whether she is going to pose as a model for some smart clothing or whether she is about to go and rob a bank!
A perfectly composed and balanced picture with lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and excellent details and sharpness.

This is great street candid and your notes explain whats going on there- I know the place offers tremendous photo opportunity, I have many more shots from tis place yet to upload. It's delightful, life-enhancing shot not one but two strong characters happening at the same time and great too that you've managed show so much in one image, even the gritty wall and all the props make great contribution attracting the eyes. I love it, it's a deceptively simple image which says much for us to decipher. Well done!
