'Tam Coc' translates from Vietnamese to English, as 'Three Caves'. This is one of them. The region is studded with karst limestone formations, reminiscent of Ha Long Bay, & is often called 'Ha Long Bay on land'. There was an incongruous red flag, on top of the hill, but I cloned it out.
Taken from a moving sampan, so standing up to get a better pov was not an option. Tourists are rowed to all 3 caves & back. It takes about 3 hours, so bring something comfortable to sit on!

Hi Chris, a good image, took from an unusual POV with a beautiful viw of the world outside and a natural rocky frame!

really looks like a trip to 'adventure' land of robinson and the pirates.
Great view out of the cave, difficult light conditions well mastered!

Good PoV to make use of this natural frame, though, since there's no detail in the shadow maybe a tighter crop left and top would be worth considering.

I find the black frame fantastic, lovely green edges gives a very nice soft feeling, also the mountains in background gives a lovely composition.
Have a Happy Easter weekend.

Nice framing of an interesting scenery..!
I like to see the small crowd in the background, they are probably waiting for their turn to go...
Exposure nicely controlled!

Hi Chris, You have well made use of the cave to frame this picture. Nice catch of the layers of view from foreground to background. Nice depth and good control of the light.

Hi Chris. I get the feeling that we're in an isolated and forgotten but beautiful place. The exposure is about as tough they come here and you did pretty good. I wouldn't change a thing with the composition. Good one Chris.

Well framed with the cave; the jagged edges give a strong graphic edge to the beautiful scene beyond.

Not an easy shot and you have coped well with the contrasts in light. The cave frames the image well and its good that you captured all of the peak in the distance.Looks like a great place to explore.
