Photographer’s Note

This is one of the many photo I've taken in the market of Phat Diem. Situated in Ninh Binh Province, in the North, Phat Diem is a centre of Catholicism in the North of Vietnam.
This market is really simple but I found it amazing. People are not selling a big variety of products, as we can see on the photo, but they are extremely nice.

Très jolie scène de vie quotidienne sur ce marché. Des gens simples pour une vie simple bien loin de nos supermarchés regorgeant de produit divers et inutiles!
Jolie atmosphère paisible qui incite au voyage et à la découverte.

Olá Ana. Até parece a "feira do relogio". É um quotidiano engraçado onde apesar de tudo parece haver alguma alegria.

There is an interesting dynamic here between the two people even though they are directly interacting. Perhaps it is friendly competition as they are not selling the same product.

Hi Ana,
Many interesting points here from a local market with hawkers sitting on the little chair, hawkers cover their face with handkerchief also a query there, clear to show their little goods for selling too, nice to see old basket and straw hats, lively shoot to show their friendly face, thanks for sharing.

Muito interessante ver o elemento humano no Vietnam, nesta composição tão simpática.
Já não me atraem tanto os produtos dentro daquela bacia - a visão nua e crua deles não me apetece nem um pouco... imagino que sejam comestíveis... desculpe-me a ignorância ;-)

Superb daily life scene. I love the expression on the lady's face. You have really included at lot in this picture. The balance and the means of transportation. The picture also gives a hint of that there a lot of other salesmen/-women here. TFS and have a nice Sunday evening!

Ana,
Another very nice daily life scene, I use to go and catch this crabs in the lake and pool, they can really pinch you very badly. It's still amaze me that they manage to eat these crabe, there is hardly any meat, and very hard to get to the meat if there is any. Very nostalgic for me. Very nice and thanks. A TE type photo for sure.

bela cena de rua. a mulher poderia estar com suas comapnheiras em qualquer local, se assemelha às mulheres vendedoras da bolívia ou do peru vendendo batatas na rua. linda a luz e a nitidez, gosto do sorriso maroto dela

Olá Ana,
Uma cena de rua muito bem apanhada, com uma compo muito bem arranjada, que não é comum ver e ainda menos fácil de conseguir. Gosto do aproveitamento da diagonal e de como ambas as pessoas estão em "pontos dourados". O sorriso da vendedora seria suficiente para tornar a foto interessante e a sua mercadoria é muito intrigante.
