They are riding their boat in the waters of Halong Bay.

I believe that the one rowing in the background, with that elegant jacket and gloves, is a girl.

But I'm not sure about the one in focus in the foreground, probably a girl too, as I believe that this activity is carried out by women there.

Its a very eye catching scene with its combination of vivid colours.Their clothes are very interesting and I like the choice of gloves by the rower.Nicely composed and the depth of focus clearly defines the layers of the image.Very good quality for a scan....take care mate.

considering that this is quite an old photo - the colours are quite all right although a little (just slight) work on contrasts would not harm the project...
but what is most interesting here is that vertical format, generating good perspective of a long boat...
the two women look quite friendly and open...seems like being in the fruit business in 1990s in vietnam was not a stressfull work...:-)
