Very beautiful composition in sepia tones to show those interesting islands in roch formation. The first one, in the right, looks like a man's face.

some times it is difficult to understand the T.E members.
this photo is beautiful but it has not received great consents. it appeals the sepia tonality and the cliff on the right seems a human profile.

I don't know if the right part of your picture represents a face, but I must confess that I like the whole composition very much and that I think that the light and colors (almost naturally sepia) are giving a fantastic atmosphere to the scene.

I saw the face and then shrugged it off until I read your note .. and now I can't rid myself of it ..

I especially love what these tones do to the wonderful textures on the water .. beautiful and unique view of this place. very nice.

I really like the color cast that the fog gives to this image. But, the image is not very sharp and I am not sure whether it is the fog or a moving camera/boat that is the culprit.

Hi Achim,

A nice image of Halong bay and of the islands which seem to be under a light fog with the rays of the sun trying to come through. The point of view is giving depth to the photo. The luminosity is affected by the light which is giving special colors and a set of shadows to the picture. Have a nice day.

Hallo Achim. Ha Long Bay. Auf Deinem Photo ist sie anders als üblich abgebildet. Sie entfaltet sich als Szenerie im Hintergrund, wobei das "Gesicht" den für die Bildwirkung wichtigen Vordergrund herstellt. Vor allem aber das Licht spielt in diesem Bild eine große Rolle. Das Motiv ist gut gesehen und photographisch realisiert. (Leider konnte ich bei meinem Aufenthalt in Vietnam 2002 die Ha Long Bucht nicht sehen, da ich auf dem Weg dorthin in einen unverschuldeten schweren Verkehrsunfall verwickelt war und in Folge davon mehrere Wochen in einem Krankenhaus in Bangkok zubringen mußte.)
