| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| There are a few villages on the water in Ha Long Bay. Inhabitants very rarely have need to step down to the solid ground. They are born on the water, they live their lives on the water, they die on the water as well. Men are usualy fishing, while their wives trading mostly with toursits from those little floatong shops |

Hello Mark,
A beautiful image. This image is very placid as the atmosphere is demanding of the viewer to feel the mist and their ability to reach out of the boat and touch the water. Angle of the woman and boat is well placed as they allow the viewers to perceive that she is venturing through the waterway in search for a market, and also shows the life that these peoples live with the fishing boats anchoring the top third of the photo.
Great depth and focus, perfect composition...!
Dear Mark.
Now I understand why I put you in my favorites.
This is a photograph I would die for.
