Mother — the sweetest word

I lost my mother when I was young. If she is alive, today she should look as old as this aged lady.

If she is alive today, I still can be a kid to her.
If she is alive, I may not remember her when I gain some victories in life, but I am sure she would welcome me back with open arms at my failure, at my loss, or at times when life knocks me down.
Unfortunately, she has passed away.

I took this picture in Chuông Market, half a country away from where I buried my mother. There is not a relationship between me and this lady who is a hat vendor in Hà Tây province. For some reason, I felt like she is my mother. Maybe just the complex of a son who didn’t appreciate enough his mother in the past. Or maybe because she looks like all generous Vietnamese mothers. For this, I must admit that I don’t know why. The only thing I know, is my love to her, Mẹ Việt-Nam.

Thank you for sharing with me a thought.
