Seated on an island linked by a bridge to the causeway between the two most romantic lakes of Hanoi, West Lake and Truc Bach Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda is a cultural symbol of Vietnamese Buddhism.

It is the oldest of all pagodas in Hanoi.

Ohhh..I love the blue hour. The reflections and the smooth tones out of long exposure is great. Had it been any other time of the day it would not have been so great as it is represented now.

Lovely place. A pagoda on a island. They have to use a boat in the old days to reach their place of prayers. The reflections on the water makes a nice scene too

Ah, je vois que je ne suis pas le seul a faire parfois des compositions 50-50 avec l horizon. Je suis déçu, je pensais trouver un commentaire en ce sens, mais personne ne s est encore lancé. Patience :-)
C est peut etre surprenant, mais j aime bien la moto et les amoureux becoteurs sur le bord droit. Ca donne de la vie a ce paysage, une autre façon d en profiter :-)

Simply beautiful! You - the masater of blue hour have effectively nailed this picture brilliantly! exposure on the pagoda with the artificial light falling on two sides look great! Lead-in well created, what I particularly like is everything except the pagoda structures are in dark silhouette, giving them prominence!
