[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
North-western part of Vietnam, specially Dien Bien and Son La area are inhabited by majority of Thai ethnic people. They are mainly engaged in agriculture in the low land.

Interesting thing about Thai women is having same style of hair and same scarf on head.

This photo is about a swinging bridge, sparsely woven with baboo sticks and steel wires that looks unsafe, but a couple of Thai women crossing it taliking happily each other without any fear. I felt dizzy while crossing, the bridge was swinging.

In this area there are many bridges like this so far which will disappear soon in the future by the government policy of modernization.

I like your note....and geez...you pic give me the creeps! They don't show any fear indeed...i guess i do for them ;o)
good DOF and balance. to my taste i would have cropped a little bit the bottom of the pic because i think otherwise it is too long vertically. but it's peanuts. Great job!

ciao dear JS,
an excellent documentary shot about life in Vietnam..you captured nice these women,looks accustomed with that bridge ..good this format vertical,we can se how long is the bridge and fine details,too..the modernization,sometimes brings good things,but sometimes not...like in life..:)..by the way,we have in Romania the brigdes like this one,but,not so long and,of course,it's another wood..:)
