Roadside Market series...

Here was this little girl sitting next to her mom (with one shoe) selling these bugs and was happy to hold the metal bowl for me when I asked her.
The bugs are cooked and consumed in the food. I once saw a lady in cambodia who had a bunch of these bugs (fried) in one hand and was eating them like potato chips.. She was nice enough to offer me a few but I thankfully passed.

Nice composition, Skye, despite the wide-angle distortion. (If you'd backed off just a bit, the distortion might have been reduced, though, I'm not sure.) Definitely a vivid daily-life shot! Regards, Ken.

Another beautiful composition! I like the smile of this girl.
But these bugs are really big! I don't know if I would be
able to eat such like bug... Why not. Very good perspective too.

I heard this is very rich in calcium. I think those are crickets. just looking and thinking of eating it gives me the shivers.
A very good shot, sharp with proper exposure.
