[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the region of Sapa you can go for many walks through the valleys and villages seeing the daily life activities of the various ethnic people. It is even possible to stay overnight in some of the villages in the local houses. This is a scene down in the valley just before planting time of the rice.

I love the way the water bodies strecth and shimmer in te light. they present a very nice view of these famed fields. Lovely tones and etxtures and overall a superb image.

Hi Wanda,
Splendid shot, I like the soft lights and the spectacular perspective. Effective choice the B&W, suggestive and creative image. Have a nice weekend

Hi Wanda,
the superb sharpness in this black&white ist the first eyecatcher. The curves of the field the second and the rising slope with the ongoing valley left with the little house before all in mist the third. Good result!

Black and white was a natural choice for shooting this misty landscape Wanda, and I like how it has emphasised the strong lines of the field boundaries.
I can't help thinking how great this would have been if you could have caught one of the farmers at work in the paddy fields. I think it needed that to make the shot really stand out, but even so I do like it as it is.

Cheers,
Ben

Hi Wanda, beautiful image, with a nice black and white and good exposure, excellent POV and composition.
the noise effect, the slightly fog, the touch of mist and all that rice fields...i dont' know why remind me to a terrifiant movie, the Killing Fields, aboyt the Khmer Rouge in Cambodja...
thanks, ciao

Hi Wanda,
well captured and cropped shot of a very good perspective and sense of depth. You did well to convert it in b/w, giving to it the sensation of an old-time picture. The grain emphasizes this feeling. Well done!
Tfs and have a nice weekend.
