Harvest time., a photo from Yen Bai, North East

Photographer's Note

This is one of the most beautiful valley in Vietnam name Lin Mong. I was so lucky to be there right on Harvest time last Sep. The picture was taken around 6 AM in the morning so I can capture some cloud on the background. Right now they start a new season there. So pity that I can not be there.

Hello Yang,
This is a superb shot. Colors are at their best. Luminosity too. Maybe you pushed a little bit the luminosity in post processing to get it like that on a 6am shot, right?
I love the curved lines of this landscape. I think you also did well on the composition with the inclusion of foregrounds it give a sense of the scale. And good point too for the timing to get some "fog" rather than clouds in the background.

u hv the ingredients for successful pict, however
the color dont look natural eg the green tree in fb. the mist almost disappered for early morning shot. may be u pushed too much during pp. big apertare dont give great dof. anyway its a good learning xperience for u, take this a challlenge to be bettter next time, i am too still learning.
