hi Wanda
Very lovely view from this pov and composition, although there seems a bit of noise. The B&W suits the look of this scene.

Good morning Wanda,
Fortunately you decided to upload a B&W photo and now we are looking at an amazing photo. I like the reflections on the water (especially reflection of the boat in the middle). I also like the further boat because of it is "moving" view.
Best,
Burcu

hello Wanda
this is a superb and fascinating landscape! The black and white make it very soft.I like your POV with a large part with glowing water and the mountains in the background.Itt's impressive to see a temple at the top of one of the rocks!Superb!
Have a nice dy.

Dag Wanda,
Groetjes, Henk

Hi Wanda,
Nice film. I used this Ilford quite a bit as well, though looking back on it, I have to say that often it would have been better to go for a 200 film. I like the grain here, but it's a bit too much in the sky. I saw that in my photographs as well in the past.
That's the good thing of digital - you can change your iso settings for each and every photograph!! Just imagine that this would be possible with film :-).
Nice composition. I like it!
Greetings, Dennis

Hello Wanda.
Everything about this shot seems timeless, from the simple traditional transportation to the monochrome to the graininess of your fst Ilford film. You caught the three craft in pleasing positions, especially the bottom one with its wake spreading into the corner. The great lanscape behind is wonderfully misty. Very well done.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Wanda,
I like the good contrasts and deep view. With the haze in the background I think a good idea for a black&white with the disappearing light and visibility. Good focus points with the boats and dynamic by the moving one.

Dag Wanda,
mooie compositie. Het lijkt wel een ouderwetse krantenfoto op dez manier. Leuk effect.

Wanda,
This is very nice image, works very well in black and white. Composition is good. Clarity is okay, not as good as and be. It’s somewhat pixel and noise level is very visible, but overall feeling of the atmosphere is very well captured and effective.

Hi Wanda,
The art of black and white, the real one, with paper and chemical.
Good composition with 3 boats at different levels. Water limit is on a line of third. Distant mountains seem further with the fog. The little pagoda on the top of the mountain is a fabulous detail.
Cheers!

Hi Wanda,
excellent image formation, with the curved line made by the boats, leading the eye into the distance. So you get a marvellous depth. The temple on top of the rock is the perfect end for this journey of my eyes.

Hello Wanda,
Usually I would remark that the graininess is detrimental to an image but in this case I actually think that it enhances the feel, making it appear older and more authentic. Perhaps it could have been taken a century previous if it were not for the outboard motors. The black and white is nostalgic and attractive. A very pleasing image. Thank you.

Once i ever visited this gorgeous place but unfortunately on the very bad weather and your classic shot really reminded me of this beautiful place. Maybe your picture just a little bit grainy and unsharpen but i dont care, it stills a well presented picture from this exotic country. Well done Wanda, i love this shot.

Hello Wanda
Quiet a traffic on Halong Bay!
Once again HP5 didn`t let you down...just love it.
Maybe a little bit too sharp(if you sharpened after the scan),but love the toning, different layers.
My kind regards
