Halong Bay IV
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The peaceful waters of Halong bay in the Gulf of Tonkin make for a great side trip fron Hanoi. You can go on a day trip or a 2 or 3 day trip on a houseboat with all meals included. There are about 3000 of these stony limestone outcrops scattered around the bay, making for an amazing atmosphere. |

Hi Wanda
Nice B&W coposition of this famous place. the grain adds some mood to the photo.
Well done
best wishes for 2008
Jorge
Hallo Wanda,
In less than 2 months i am there...really looking forward to it. If i can catch this mood i would be happy. The place ia and looks magical..stunning. No need fot clear blue skies here, it's the atmosphere what counts.
That boat is essentiel int he oevral composition. the grain...perfect, no need to remove that, it's film and that shows. On print this must look wonderful.
If i can make such a shot it saves my day..!!!

I like very much the oldish style brought by your equipment. It really rnders very well the atmosphere there. An excellent catch.
I like the emphasis on the grain here. A mystical atmosphere which reminds me being there in 2001.
Happy New Year !
Michael
