Photographer's Note

Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The bay is a large area (approx. 1,500 sq. km) with thousands of limestone formations and islands. Ha Long means 'Descending Dragon'. It is very beautiful but there are very many junks sailing its waters. We stayed for one night on a very nice luxury junk and visited one of the islands that has a very small beach. There was a small floating market and this photo shows a woman with various types of fish. In the WS I show a view from the top of one of the islands.
Currently in Saigon and off to the Mekong Delta tomorrow.
