Junk

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
To escape the noise and especially the moto horns of Ha Noi we decided to spend a few days on a junk in Ha Long Bay. Ha Long means descending dragon and the many limestone outcrops are supposed to be humps of the dragon that protected the Vietnamese against the invading Chinese.
Just a shame it wasn't sunny really. |

Very nice colorful mage I like the sail line almost parallel to the sky line of the limestone!
Hi Nick, looks like a very intersting spot. Most of all I like the person in the rowingboat, this gives a good idea how big the boats actually are. To bad from the sky, but a little work in PS will make it abit better.

Wow beautiful scenary! maybe croping the lower part of the photo so their is less un interesting water in the picture would help and place the Junks in prime interest position farther away from the vertical centerline.
a Great depth would be great taking the background peaks into focus but thats just a redundent thing that cant be altered.
but still great photo and great subjects!
Its a good composition. The sails and the humps of the hills are complementing each other well. Pity it wasn't clear enough.
