Sapa, in Northern Vietnam near the Chinese border, differs from the rest of the country because of its mountainous character and its diverse ethnic background.

The region is home to many tribes such as H’mong and Dzao, which migrated from China centuries ago. Some of them still don't speak Vietnamese.

The people in the mountains sure have sweet teeth. And they carry parasols to avoid sun tanned.

She has a very happy expression. I think the purple theme is very eye-catching. The composition with the umbrella in one corner is excellent. Exposure is very good with a nice out of focus background that lets us concentrate on the main subject. Like those ear rings!

Image like this one makes me wish to visit Sapa sooner than later. This smile is simple infectious and the most genuine smile I have seen, no shame of the lack of teeth, that is real life in that part of the work.
