Photographer's Note

Back to my usual fav humanity subject;

A candid shot as I came upon mother and child, but this sweet cutie on piggyback caught my attention even more, just a depiction of a small insight into lives of rural Vietnam. Taken in Tha Pin small hamlet, home to some ethnic Red Dzao hill tribe about 15 km north east of Sa Pa - the former colonial French hill station- on a cool cloudy afternoon at 1500m elevation. The atmosphere in the place was so relaxed and one aspect of daily life that I find interesting, carrying babies this way is a lovely custom and it also offers delightful sight for endless shooting opportunity.
