Theater at the Citadel on Hue, the Palace of the Kings.

On the north side of the river is the Citadel, the centre of the historic city. Most of Huế's important monuments, temples, and pagodas are found in this area. The Imperial City at Hue was built on the same principles as the Forbidden City in Beijing. It is surrounded by 7-10m thick outer walls, moats and canals. Construction began in 1804 under the reign of Emperor Gia Long. The Citadel contains several buildings, pavilions and temples. Within the Citadel is an area called "Purple Forbidden City", where the Vietnamese emperors built palaces, gates, and courtyards that served as their residence and administrative centre.

Hi Achim,

Striking theatre se, as Asian as it can be. Like a cathedral, everything is symmetrical and the centred composition is a right choice to put the emphasis on the balanced decor. Ambient light is cozy and multicoloured and your exposure management seems to restitute it faithfully.

Cheers!

André

Hello Achim,

Hello Achim,

beautiful building interior. The colours and details of the design are excellent. A true architectural gem very well captured by your lens. The light inside look very good and your frontal perspective is effective to show us good symmetry. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Hallo Achim,
detailreiches Abbild der Bühne, gute farben und Licht. Eine äüußerst verspielte Dekoration. Wo ist das Publikum?
Lieben Gruss, Ulf

Hi Achim,
Very colorful temple ... you've done well here considering it is a low lighting conditions with good resulting image quality... very sharp and clear. The tungsten lighting works well here to make the golden colors more pronounce which makes the scene more dramatic. Well captured and composed. Well done! tfs
Cheers,
Renier

Hallo Achim. Ein interessantes und sehenswertes Photo mit hervorragenden Farben und technischer Qualität. Das Theater ist in seiner Art ein Blickfang. I see that you didn't use tripod for this interior shot. I'm amazed by the result you got with the iso 1600. Everything is clear and sharp. Very good handheld work and beautiful place indeed. Very well done!

Hello Achim
Fantastic indoor shot with so rich details. Superbly symmetrical, the pillars remind me of the Wats in Lao. The exposure management for the shot is really well done. Great shot!

Hi Achim,

Very vain this small theatre. I like the luxury of this interior and all these pretty gildings. Much smoothness in the decoration. A good and interesting framing, the man on the left of the image is welcome to give us a scale to the places.

With all my friendships and with soon,

Jean-Charles
