I took this shot from the balcony of our hotel in Hue. This cyclo driver was cruising up and down the road looking for customers, and his colourful seat is what attracted me. The perfume river runs through the city of Hue, and there are a few interesting sites to see here. You can visit the citadel which started being built in 1804. You can take a boat trip on the perfume river to a few pagodas(temples) along the river and to visit the tombs of the Nguyen emperors.

Shooting from above is a great way to produce interesting images, and you've done well here. Including just the rickshaw and the road has made for quite a simple and graphic image, and you're right, the bright cushion gives it even more impact.
Good stuff Wanda.

Cheers,
Ben

Hi, my friend!
It is very oryginal view. I like your conception and your idea. I think should be litle more shrapen. Interesting transport in Vietnam.

Hi Wanda, beautiful view, with an original and unusual POV and the cyclo and wiht high quality and amazing colours.
thanks, ciao

Hi Wanda,
Great view from above, creates an interesting composition, and the man seems not be aware of your presence. The red design from the chair is so ugly that it becomes beautiful ;-)
Prettig weekend, Henk

A bold angle that give an intersting perspective. But most of all a fine job on a colorspot in a grey world.

Hi Wanda,
I like the over head view.I can understand why the seat cover caught your eye.I think it would be difficult to find a more vibrant one than that.Well noticed and take care.

Hi Wanda,

I see that you’ve made profitable the balcony of your room, because I remember your image called «Heavy Load» taken from a similar spot. Actually, I would have done the same, with all these interesting characters that were passing directly under you to be photographed!

This original location was good for you, as it provided singular points of view, while your subjects have no clue they are being shot. Again, a creative result and clever technic.

Regards,

André

Hi Wanda,

Interesting POV from the top. The colorfull rickshaw seat is really an eye catch and offer a good color contrast to the rest of the elemts in the picture.

Flavia

Hi Wanda. Vietnam has some wonderful photo opportunities and this is a classic. Good clarity and colours. TFS. Murray.

Hi Wanda,
Well chosen POV, these cyclos are so typical of South East Asia and they have a charm of their own. I hope they stay that way.
