It is a true labyrinth of water ways. The dugout is the essential means of transport, for work, walks, weddings and ceremonies. Here everyone is a farmer and fisherman. The tides penetrate the delta, thus bringing many fish.

C'est un vrai labyrinthe de chemins d'eau. La pirogue est le moyen de transport indispensable, pour les travaux, les promenades, les mariages et cérémonies. Ici tout le monde est paysan et pêcheur. Les marées pénètrent le delta, apportant ainsi de nombreux poissons.

Bonjour Hoa,
Très belle composition avec des couleurs naturelles et éclatantes. La taille gigantesque des palmes est bien mise en éidence par la présence de la barque et des deux personnages. Peut-être aurait-il fallu quelques crocodiles pour compléter le tableau ... ? En tout cas, l'ambiance d'aventure est parfaite.

A nice mix of Vietnames and belgian photos that you have in your gallery, but its the vietnamese shots that draw my eye, and this particularly.
Nice POV and good sharpness to let us look along the boat and down the river. I take it you were in another boat travelling in the other direction.

I love ths shot, Hoa, because it brings back so many happy memories of relaxing days exploring the labyrinth of waterways that make up the Mekong delta - truly one of the most fascinating places in this region. Shooting in the delta during the day is never easy because of the harsh light overhead and the strong shadows under the nipa palms, but your exposure here is a good compromise. Good framing and sharpness. Cheers . . . David
