I have two photos from Phu Quoc island which show the bright colors found on the boats in tropical countries. Aside from its beaches, Phu Quoc is known for pepper and fish sauce. You'll see the large stands of pepper growing alongside the roads and there are several fish sauce factories - huge barrels of fish fermenting, hand bottled and packaged ready for sale domestically and to export.
This one here is taken on a river. The boats are painted bright blue, red and green. Even so they don't stand out so much from the lush tropical foliage that overgrows the edges of the river. The houses themselves begin to acquire color - both from people hanging their colorful clothes out to dry and with the drab iron rusting and becoming a red.
I played with the contrast and colors a bit, but I am still an amateur, so if you have a comment to make, I will welcome it.
