Another photo from the fish market in Duong Dong town on Phu Quoc island.
This one was taken later in the day when everything had been sold and the women had packed up and were waiting to go home.
The plastic sheets which give some shade could be rolled up to allow the catch to be unloaded from the boats and was patched up with plastic sacks and stitched together - giving a lovely light and background.
I cropped the photo to remove clutter from the right and a patch of white sky from the left, adjusted curves and sharpened. |

hello Brian
Excellent composition.
The color is fantastic.
I taste very of the effect of movement of the fabric.
Good work! congratulations
Very original shot!! Well done :)
The play of shadow and light on the fabric
looks very nice. Nice composition as well,
Thanks

Fantastic light.
Hi Brian,
This is a little unusual but i think it works nicely. The fresh pastel colours are very soothing and create a nice atmosphere for this presumably hectic place. It looks rather like the lady is praying...
The tatty makeshift patchwork is very sweet.

Sorry to say that but you've butchered the post processing on what is an incredibly f****g AWESOME composition. Next time I see you fiddling sharpness in photoshop with a radius greater than 0.5 I'll shoot you in the hand.
I think this is worth giving it a second chance, I'm not kidding this is first class composition.
