| While walking in the open market, I saw these areca nuts displayed so beautifully. In Vietnam, older people tend to chew areca nuts with betel leaves and lime paste to keep their teeth strong. However, the side effect is that their teeth become stained. Young areca nuts (green) are also use in wedding ceremonies. I believe these are used just for decoration during Vietnamese's New Year. |
