Hi, Achim. Modern distibution techniques ;o). I think this way of trading is much more ecological than what we have over here in Europe with big trucks carrying goods over long distances. What I like in your picture is the different sizes of the boats which create a good perspective in the image. Good colours and light too.

Good shot of daily life! The colour and contrast in this are really good, giving the shot maximum impact. Probably it would be even better if you had been closer although that may not have been possible as you were shooting from another boat. I think the workshop photo is even better. Nice work!

Bonjour Achim,
retour dans des eaux plus boueuses et une photo dans laquelle les couleurs jouent un grand rôle. Une photo dépaysante aussi, qui nous éloigne de nos grandes villes européennes. Des gens qui ont moins pour vivre , mais qui ont aussi moins de besoins.
La scène est bien cadrée.

Very busy river scene with vivid clear colors, excellent details and sharpness. The muddy waters contrast nicely with the colorful river boats and the inclusion of the man balancing the load of melons adds a wonderful human touch to this fine composition.

Olá Achim, nice details of this floating market. A pitty that we can't see a closer approach of the people or sellings, but I like the scenery and mood of all the traditional boats and daily life items.
