A young guy in South Vietnam.
It's NOT a monk. Monks have special traditions. Maybe this one is from a Japanese sect, but I don't know.
If you want to know what this suit is about, what this haircut is saying, please, ask someone smarter than me.
This picture was taken with a very simple Olympus Camedia C300 Zoom, a camera that doesn't really allow to play a lot with the settings. It was sunset, the light was nice and the boy seems wise. I was on holiday.
Sorry for the lame kind of tourist picture, I'm sure it doesn't bring much to TE people, but I liked this picture. I swear tomorow I'll upload a better one.
This picture is dedicated to kevinos.
I'm sure he likes at least 'something' in this picture. |

What a pity you did not include a note. the image is so unusual that it really does need a note to explain it. I can't imagine what kind of religious group he belongs to. As for the picture itself, the subject -whatever it is - is interesting. But the composition is too central. A person staring straight into the lens from dead center is not good composition. The exposure is quite nice and the light modeling the face is good. It is generally an attractive and intriguing picture.
