Market Scene Series - Episode 03
As you are entering Can Tho floating market, you are suddenly submerged in colours, smells and noise. The spectacle is fascinating, but it is difficult to capture it properly, as you are constantly moving, just like other boats coming towards you.
The display of fresh fruits, old women rowing gracefully while standing on their boats, and the impression of being in the middle of a traffic jam at rush hour, all contribute to the confusion of the senses. While aiming in one direction with your camera, something else is happening on the opposite side.
Surely worth to go there more than once, with too much things happening.

Lovely composition. fascinating spectacle indeed. Great colours and details with endless variety. The boy in the fg does look confused. Thanks for sharing and have a great new week ahead.

Hmmm...this is a scene I know well, Andre, as I lived/worked in Can Tho for a couple of years! Glad to see it included in your market series. The red cap in the middle is the winner here.

this is a fascinating busy scene from the floating market. It's easy to understand the scenes and feelings described in your note just by looking at the arrangement of the boats moving in all directions and at the tremendous amount of details all over the place. The sense of depth and the clarity you achieved are stunning. I love the lighting, the colours and the texture of the water. The boatman in the foreground is wonderfully placed, making an effective introduction to the busy setting. He looks like the conductor of an orchestra:) Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

not only the composition thru a nice framing but the natural colors are adding a great value.

I was here one year before you and remember this confusion with pleasure. Although you complain a bit of the difficulties of hitting the ever moving targets I think you did extremely well. Here you have a number of boats of various kinds, and with virtually not one of them blocking the view of another. There is an abundance of colours and details, and the guy in the red cap is well positioned in the foreground. The sharpness is impressive and you have handled the light very well.

thats an amazing frame here, showing the the hustle and bustle of the place and the mood.love the light and the pov.like how you have kept one boat with 2 oars on 2 sides as the pivoting point.

The man in the middle here is really the centre and the eye-catcher of the picture. His red cap, the way his oars are arranged, he is really the main detail here.

the title for this one says it all really. But it is your POV and execution here that make it all the more tantalising and delightful. It makes us imagine the chaos, colours, smells and magic here perfectly. A wonderfully expressive piece of imagery!
Have a good week - B.

You got an excellent viewpoint here, as if you were one of those rowers. It really looks busy, and as you say positions of boats change all the time. You have them well arranged, no overlapping on foreground boats.
