[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There is a beautiful floating market near Can Tho named Cai Rang. Every morning lots of big and small boats gather here on the river from everywhere of Mekong delta carrying all kinds of agricultural products. The market starts around 5 a.m. and almost finishes around 10. The busiest time is between 6 to 8 when you can witness the actual life of the people in Mekong delta.

With a few slight differences this image would almost certainly have been one of my favourites of the year so far.......I love the S shaped composition and here you have caught the shape really well in the foreground and midground with the guy pulling the eye back across - you even have the upper end of the S going off to the top right hand corner - just a little more of the person in that corner and you would have had a near perfect 'pull' back in that direction - but as I say the line is there and you have an S - just not as well defined and powerful as it could be. My second little quibble - and it's only a couple of degrees - is the slightly sloping water line - downhill to the right - it just gets my eye. The third is related to exposure - there is some burn but difficult to tell how natural this is - I think a touch more black in the shadows - a levels adjustment (?) - might just lift the image that little bit in terms of contrast.

Lastly I think there may have been a much stronger candid image here than the sense from your capture that they posing - I guess they spotted you in mid stride rather than a formal pose but I can see a better image moment here...........it is easy for me to say - hindsight and all that .........hope there is something useful there....just my perspective on it.
