Fishing nets in Ca-Mau

It is a mighty sight seeing this for the first time. I did not known what kind of fishing nets they are, Perhaps they could be fishing-traps, not just a kind of fishing nets. Its is from both sides of the river with an opening in the middle for boats getting through. Perhaps someone could tell me some more about this.

Shooting on a high speed boat from Ca-mau downtown to Dat-Mui, in a rainy day.

Nikon D70s, Polarizer.
