Photographer’s Note
This is one of the view I took while paddling through the canal in the island. There are many places I wish could stop but I was moving along in the river. I like how the lights trickle through the thick trees, just beautiful. Riding a boat and taking pictures, you must be ready with your camera and pan it a little on the area you want so it does not get blurred.

Hello Andre. Not the easiest light to handle in this situation, but it looks like you and the D200 managed well and the impression of walking/boating the stream underneath the trees is authentically conveyed. Good inclusion of the blue boats surrounded by a puzzling variety of green vegetation.

very impressive shot from this beautiful place again. Interesting to know that you had to use panning techniques to get it right! Great colours and atmosphere.
