I absolutely love this photo. reminds me of Japanese paintings, where every single line is indispensible and cannot be removed without destroying the balance of the image. the symmetry of the boat and the flock of birds gives the picture the movement, but very delicate one, similar to the delicate lines and patterns in the trees.
I was tought to keep in mind three things when judging a photo - the subject (ideally - representing a theme, an idea), the focus of attention and the simplicity. I believe that this photo can be used as an exaple to show what these three things really mean. first, the theme is obvious - serenity, calm. second - there's nothing in the photo to distract the viewer from this theme. on the contrary, every detail adds to the feeling of peace. finally, the photo IS simple. no visible clouds, the water is perfectly still... great shot. my favorite.
sry for this somewhat lengthy comment, but I tend to suffer attacs of graphomania when shown something beautiful :)

Fantastic Photo!
Great light, colours and reflextions.
I would only sugest to put the "horizon" in the midle of the photo to increase the sense of symetry.
But is so good that I was in doubt of posting WS, but since I dit it, I decided to post.

Simply beautiful! Very harmonious picture, very well balanced, almost minimalistic...a pretty pure composition, and lovely tones. Quite hard to describe...it gives such a deep feeling of peace

Hello Huyvien. ALready been said, but can't help repeating this seems like a painting. The symmetric reflections on the peaceful waters, the birds flying on a pastel sky, everything converges to create a fairy world of visual beauty.

Everything is so perfectly placed, the reflection, the small rowboat, the birds flying, the city (?) behind almost hidden in the smoggy atmosphere... Incredible!
You've surely done PP for this photo (look at the two small persons there), looks like an ink art print!
Anyway, a real pleasure for the eyes, that's for sure!
