Photographer's Note

Chau Doc is a small town in the midst of Mekong Delta in An Giang province about 280km southwest of Ho Chi Minh City. Close to the Cambodian border, it sits at the junction of Bassac river (or Hâu River) a tributary of the Great Mekong river. An incredibly friendly bustling town, an ideal base to relax before exploring this fascinating region of rivers and canals.

This panning image was taken in town early in the morning before the real street life began
