Amazing walls Yannick, and your low viewpoint and use of the wide-angle seems to emphasise their size, as does the inclusion of the passing cyclist.
A dramatic shot, and the deep blue sky makes a great backdrop.

Un tres bon pdv dans cette prise ou toutes les tours sont bien placees. Une belle perspective, une nettete excellente, un ciel bien bleu et le cycliste est la cerise sur le gateau. Bravo pour cette photo.

The impressive walls surrounding the city are something marvellous and you captured them well including the man cycling adding dynamism to the composition.

Belle image :) La composition est sobre, mais efficace avec ce cycliste qui amène une présence humaine utile pour l'équilibre de l'ensemble. Belle perspective donnée par le cadrage au grand-angle. Belle couleur du ciel, quoique un peu bruité.

Cadrage, néttété, sujet et couleurs sont au top.
C'est comme ça que j'imagine l'Ouzbekistan: majesteux et enigmatique.

Une photo qui ne déparerait pas dans un magazine de géographie ou de voyages. Tout est bon depuis la composition, les couleurs, le POV et jusqu'au cycliste qui donne la vie et l'échelle.

Très bien vu cette photo des imposantes murailles de Boukhara, ville que j'adore vraiment.
Le cycliste met particulièrement en évidence la majesté des remparts.

superbe compo d'une contrée encore méconnue.
L'architecture est superbe mais ça ne suffisait pas à faire une bonne photo.
Il y a le cycliste qui lui donne toute sa grandeur et magnificence.

Hi Yannick,
I did'nt see this pic earlier, sorry. It is wonderful. I have my own version of the famous wall on TE, but yours is better in composition, foregound (baker-cyclist) , sharpness. My lousy excuse is that this part of the wall was under repair when we were there in 2004. Thanks for showing it.

Gosh! I don't think I've seen this place before, looks fantastic - and an eye for humour too, I think, in your composition! :)

On my screen, it looks a little "gritty" - perhaps overshapening - but this is not so important here.
