Photographer’s Note
This is Chor minor. 'Chor minor' means 'four minarets'. It is situated in the eastern part of Bukhara and served as entrance building of a madrassah not existing any more. It was built in 1807 by the rich Turkman Niyazkul. It is said, that the four minarets with the turquoise domes represent the four sons of Niyazkul.
